Saliva is not the best sample type for detecting SARS-CoV-2. This raises questions about the study.

Why the Omicron is highly contagious but less lethal? Is it because of antibody cocktail in the form of vaccination we have been administered over the period of time? Or high mutation rate changing virus structure from its predecessor inhibiting more viral load binding to ACE2 receptor and so less infection?

Most of the immunity assessment is based on antibody responses. What we know about T cell responses that could provide long-term protection against disease symptoms, despite not being able to provide protection against infection.

what differences have you seen in disease development within the lungs parynchima with original covid and omicron and what are the risks for long covid . If you are contaminated with omicron can you still suffer from long covid .

If the testings are not that reliable, then vaccination should be implemented, regardless?

I am concerned wioth the lasting effects upon the lungs parynchima with comparison between covid 191 and omicron . will I have to perform interventions in occupational health ?

I am talking about my US workforce.
