can you explain more about using alternative transport media or lysis buffer?
will this PPT be available?
can you please explain use of alternate saliva collection devices? Also could you talk about the importance of pre-EUA submissions
Ah so cute
for the saliva sample type, is buccal swab acceptable?
is there a higher throughput demand at the POCT site?
current POCT device only test 1 sample at a time.
Has the FDA reconsidered the use of TCID50 for LOD determination of antigen tests. There is considerable difference among different TCID50 preps (manufacturer to manufacturer and lot to lot)?
Oral or throat swabs can be considered also as a sample type
Excellent presentation Erika
the current LOD determination method is confusing and not accurate. different companies use different measure units. is there a concern to it?
Symptoms are what the person reports, therefor at the discretion of the person to report. (signs are what a clinician sees like a discharge or lesion or fever and reports.)
Just information for those on the Webinar: As a doctor seeing patients in a busy primary care clinic, I am having more and more patients refusing COVID testing because they don't want to have an NP swab. This is happening especially among patients who have already had an NP sample taken for COVID testing.
Agree. This is why it will be important to validate alternative sample types like mid turbinate or nasal swab.
Excellent presentation! Thank you!
